Ministry: North Central Missouri College BSU
Lead Campus Missionary
Mission Statement:
Love Jesus. Love Others. Love Yourself.
Tell us about your journey to becoming a Campus Missionary:
I became involved with BSU under Scott Bryant when I was in college, as I became more involved in the ministry the more I fell in love with college students and seeing them know Christ. My senior year of college I felt the call to work with college students despite the Fact that I got my degree in elementary education. I started working at NCMC in 2011 became full fledged Campus Missionary in 2016.
What do you love about doing ministry on your campus?
I love the family feel of doing ministry on this campus, the heart of the students is so beautiful. I want every student that comes through to feel like they have a home here with us.
Tell us about yourself and your family:
I'm a bit obsessed with Star Wars, I love to read - especially Ted Dekker books. But my absolute passion is traveling anywhere. I love people, nature and food. I come from an insanely large family - I have 23 aunts and uncles, 20 first cousins and 1 brother who is married with 6 kids. So family is a huge deal, but I live a good 400 miles or so from them.
What do you hope to see happen on your campus/within your ministry in the next few years?
I hope to see disciples made, lives changed and churches revived through the power of Jesus Christ!
What are some of the things your ministry does?
Thursday Bible studies, Monday game night, Tuesday worship service, Wednesday free lunch, regular campus outreach events, free grocery store for students, trips and conferences.
