Role: Campus Missionary
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to bring the hope and peace of Jesus to Kansas City area college students.
Tell us about your journey to becoming a Campus Missionary.
I have a degree in Airport Management and was in aviation for a few years. About a year after graduation, God called me to be a campus ministry apprentice at the University of Central Missouri BSU. After two years of training and encouragement, I was sent out to plant a new ministry at UMKC. By God's grace, I continue to be provided with many wise mentors to encourage me and show me what it looks like to follow Jesus as a Campus Missionary.
What do you love about doing ministry on your campus?
I love how passionate and strategic college students are! They are asking big life questions, often for the first time. God sends the nations to our backyard, and it is a blessing to be used as an instrument for His Kingdom. My favorite thing is to see a student follow Jesus and become a disciple that makes disciples. God and His Word are powerful!
Tell us about yourself and your family.
I married my wonderful wife, Meraiah, in the summer of 2022! We are excited to work together to reach UMKC!
What do you hope to see happen on your campus/within your ministry in the next few years?
This is the first year for the Collegiate Impact restart at UMKC! Our goal is to show and share the love of Jesus with the students, faculty, and staff of UMKC. We do this primarily through Gospel Appointments and small group Bible studies.
What are some of the things your ministry does?
God has given each of us a unique ministry field! We want to help you find what it looks like to follow Jesus and share His love with those around you. Come see what it looks like to take the next step in your walk with God! Email me or reach out using my links below.
