Where are you serving this summer, and who is your mentor?

How did you first encounter Jesus Christ, and how has His lordship continued to change your life?
Being a Christian is more than just sitting in the pew. To me it is a call to service. I feel like God has called me to serve in relation to children’s ministry, with the emphasis in younger kids.

What does the church mean to you?
To me the church is family and love. A place where I can talk to anyone with problems or concerns.

As a student, how have you shared – and are currently sharing – your faith with others?
I have talked about my faith with students while working with children while working in our church’s children’s ministry.

What do you feel is your vocational call (future career), and how do you anticipate sharing your faith through that call?
I have always wanted to be a horse trainer. Once I complete my EQS degree, I’m planning on starting my own business. I planning on opening a business called “Calvary Equestrian” where I will teach children about Jesus while also teaching them to ride horses.

Why do you want to be a summer missionary?
To be able to use the gifts, talent, and abilities God has given me to share His love with others.
