Where are you serving this summer, and who is your mentor?

How did you first encounter Jesus Christ, and how has His lordship continued to change your life?
I grew up in a Christ-centered family who valued service to the church. I have been on the worship team since I was 14. His grace has given me opportunities that I never would’ve had if not for the church and God’s plan for my life.

What does the church mean to you?
The church to me is a second home. Somewhere to lay your burdens down at the feet of the Lord and let His love wash over you. It has been a place of love and fellowship for as long as I can remember!

As a student, how have you shared – and are currently sharing – your faith with others?
I have been fortunate enough to bring many of my friends from school to church and was given the opportunity to baptize 2 of them. I travel with the Church’s worship team and sang at many student events.

What do you feel is your vocational call (future career), and how do you anticipate sharing your faith through that call?
I do not know where God’s plans are going to take me yet, but I know I will continue to serve at church as long as I am able.

Why do you want to be a summer missionary?
I see missions as an opportunity to introduce life change to anybody who doesn’t know the love of Christ. I want to be a summer missionary because I believe in the mission and want to become a better leader.
