The Bridge Collegiate Ministry at Missouri Valley College and Mizzou
Area Director/Mizzou Campus Missionary
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to bridge Missouri Valley and Mizzou students to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Body in partnership with local churches. We do this by: - Discipling them to grow in their relationship with Jesus - Equipping them with the tools to live with a biblical worldview - Connecting them to a local church body
Tell us about your journey to becoming a Campus Missionary:
My family and I have been working full-time in student ministry since 2007. In February of 2019 we heard about a need for a Collegiate Missionary on the Campus of Missouri Valley, and we started praying that God would raise up the person for the job - not really considering it was us. In June 2019 we accepted the call, finally seeing how God was leading us to this new position. We moved to Marshall, Missouri, that August and launched a new campus ministry. Three years after planting and seeing God do an amazing work at Missouri Valley College, we had the opportunity to multiply the Bridge Collegiate Ministry and plant onto the campus of Mizzou in fall of 2022.
What do you love about doing ministry on your campus?
Mizzou is a diverse campus with almost 30,000 college students from all over the world. My favorite thing is hearing all the students' stories. I also love just being on campus and finding new places to hang out with students.

Tell us about yourself and your family:
My wife, Rachel, and I have been married since 2005 and have three children - Payton (2011), Theron (2013), Mariella (2017). Our life is filled with soccer games, wrestling, and t-ball. I love to play disc golf, Fish, and pretty much being outside. Working with students and seeing God do amazing things through their life is one of my greatest passions.
What do you hope to see happen on your campus/within your ministry in the next few years?
In the next few years, I see our Campus Ministry being a place that has made a kingdom impact at Mizzou. I believe as we reach the campus for Christ, live together in biblical community, serve within our spiritual giftedness, and live on mission, we will have students equipped to live the life of a follower of Christ.
What are some of the things your ministry does?
We are planning to do a large group study on campus on Tuesday nights at 7:30 pm (check out our Instagram for locations). During the week we plan to plant student-led small groups around campus. Sunday nights we plan to do a bunch of different stuff whether it's playing games on campus, going to a park, or partnering with local churches for activities
