Mission Statement:

To Equip our Christian students to share the good news with HLGU students

Tell us about your journey to becoming a Campus Missionary:

In 2012, I started work in the college setting in the student life area, where I found my passion to college students. I became involved in the college ministry at my church. In 2018, God planned for me to move to the USA, where he blessed me to minister to the second generation Middle Eastern college students in Orange county, California. In this time, God was preparing me to start seminary studies at Gateway Seminary, and I thought that he is equipping me for my ministry in California, but he had another plans for me. in October 2023, He opened another door for me to come to Hannibal Lagrange University as the Campus minister, where I have the opportunity to work with an amazing group of students to share the good news in our campus.

What do you love about doing ministry on your campus?

Ministering with HLGU students brings the most joy to my heart. Seeing that many people who love the Lord and love to talk about Him in one place is irreplaceable blessings.

Tell us about yourself and your family:

I was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt in a Christian household that was keen to raise me on fearing the Lord. Many years later, God opened the door for me to come to the US to do ministry to college students in various capacities until I land in Hannibal Lagrange University.

What do you hope to see happen on your campus/within your ministry in the next few years?

I hope that every student on campus would be part of the discipleship group that fits their character.

What are some of the things your ministry does?

We have the gathering every other Monday. We have discipleship groups in every dorm on campus. And we have the Go Trojans Ministry team, which is led by students. Students also can connect with me in my office at the L.A. Foster student building.
