Tell us about your journey to becoming a Campus Missionary:
Having been in youth ministry for nearly three decades, I am thrilled to work with university students here at S&T! I’ve been here since 2013.

What do you love about doing ministry on your campus?
What a privilege to walk alongside these young adults as they make life decisions and deepen their walk with Jesus! Their committed approach to their studies is also evident in their commitment to Christ.

My engineering students think it’s hilarious that my double majors are Art and Church Recreation. Well, it was great preparation for this job! I am blessed to be married to Beki since 1980 (March 22) and to be Dad to Jonathan (married to Shayna) and Mandy (married to Paul). Mostly, I’m blessed to be Papa to eight grandchildren! Not many campus ministers can say that!

What do you hope to see happen on your campus/within your ministry in the next few years?
We hope to see students begin their walk with Jesus and grow in Him. What more could we desire?

What are some of the things your ministry does?
We worship on Tuesday evenings at 7:00, feed students on Wednesdays from 11:30-1:00, and have “life” groups at various times throughout the week. Students can also join in game nights and just “hang-out” in our family atmosphere.
