MoVal students from the Bridge ministry led a student revival on campus on March 31, 2025. Campus Missionary Marita Avilez shares,
“Several students on the leadership team had individually expressed a desire to have a worship night on campus. I brought it up to the group at one of our leadership meetings and the whole group wanted to do it. Aaron and Damon said that they would take the lead in planning the event, and they did! They met with Student Affairs to set the date, planned the itinerary of the night, asked an alumni to lead the music, and shared the speaking portion. Aaron shared his testimony and Damon preached over Matthew 6:19-24. He challenged the students to evaluate what they were investing in: for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. There were about 65 students in attendance; it was a great time of worship and preaching! Three girls talked with Pastor Paul afterwards and expressed their desire to get baptized. Several other student leaders helped facilitate the event as well; Andrew ran the slides, and Hailey and Elen were the welcoming committee. The event was completely initiated, planned and run by the students!
