Baptist Collegiate Ministry
Mission Statement:
Campus ministry is to lead people to Christ and grow into a stronger relationship with Him through discipleship, to give them the tools they need to stand up for what they believe in a culture that does not share a biblical worldview, to plug students in and understand the importance of the local church, all while developing and maintaining relationships with local churches to partner in Kingdom work on Missouri Valley College Campus.
Tell us about your journey to becoming a Campus Missionary:
My family and I have been working in students ministry for the last 16 years. In February of 2019 we heard about a need for a Collegiate Missionary on the Campus of Missouri Valley and we started praying that God would raise up the person for the job not really considering it was us. In June 2019 we accepted the call, finally seeing how God was leading us to this new position. We moved to Marshall Missouri in August and are in are beginning stages of starting a new campus ministry.
What do you love about doing ministry on your campus?
Missouri Valley College has a beautiful campus and we have loved exploring it and connecting with students and staff. The town of Marshall loves their college students and are excited to help in any way minister to the needs they have.

Tell us about yourself and your family:
My wife Rachel and I have been married for 14 years, and have three Children. Payton 8, Theron 6, Mariella 2. Our life is filled with soccer games, wrestling, and t-ball. I love to play disc golf, Fish, and pretty much being outside. Working with students and seeing God do amazing things through their life is one of my greatest passions.
What do you hope to see happen on your campus/within your ministry in the next few years?
In the next few years I see our Campus Ministry being a place that has made a kingdom impact at Missouri Valley. I believe as we reach the campus for Christ, live together in biblical community, serve within our spiritual giftedness, and live on mission, we will have students equipped to live the life of a follower of Christ.
What are some of the things your ministry does?
We are just getting started so right now we are working on getting small groups off the ground but you will have to join us and see for yourself as we plan some of our first steps as a ministry.
