Helping churches saturate Missouri college campuses with the good news of Jesus.

MBCollegiate exists to bring light to Missouri college campuses and equip next-generation disciples to be and make disciples. Our mission: expand God’s Kingdom (Luke 11:2) in the collegiate world (Acts 1:8) for gospel saturation (Psalm 67:2).

We’re a network of like-minded Baptist college ministries partnering with Missouri Baptists for greater gospel impact across the state. Each ministry is autonomous, working alongside local churches, associations, and the Missouri Baptist Convention. The MBC’s MBCollegiate group strengthens existing ministries and helps launch new works on more campuses.

Our Leaders

Jerome Stockert
Director of Collegiate Ministries

Jerome Stockert has been part of collegiate campus ministry for more than 30 years, serving on campuses at Arizona State University, Arkansas State University, and, most recently, the University of Central Missouri.

He also served nine years as the Metro Collegiate Director in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as a missionary through the North American Mission Board. In addition to collegiate ministry, Jerome served as a church planter/pastor in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Stockert holds a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Biology from Arkansas State University. He and his wife, Andrea, have three grown children.

Travis Hamm
Statewide Strategist

Travis has led campus ministries since 2007. For 10 years he served as MBCollegiate’s Campus Missionary at the University of Missouri-Kansas City leading a ministry called Impact UMKC. In 2016, Travis became a Collegiate Strategist for MBCollegiate, developing and overseeing its Internship and Apprenticeship programs.

In 2018, Travis and his wife, Britney, co-founded Collegiate Impact, a network of campus ministries and churches working together to bring the hope and peace of Jesus to Kansas City area college students across multiple campuses. Collegiate Impact became its own 501(c)3 in 2020, and Travis currently serves as its Executive Director.

Travis holds a Master of Divinity with a College Ministry emphasis from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Vocal Music Performance from Northwest Missouri State University. He has been married to his amazing wife, Britney, since 2009, and he loves being a dad to his five incredible kids. When he’s not working, he loves cheering on his favorite sports teams (GO CHIEFS AND ROYALS!), hiking, and enjoying all things coffee.
