“Easily the biggest win of the semester so far, let alone the last month, was our spring break mission trip from March 14-22 going to BeachReach in Panama City Beach, Florida. Our team of 20 joined with nearly 700 other people representing 20 different college ministries to give free shuttle rides and share the Gospel with college students on spring break. Even though we were doing ministry from 9pm-2am for five nights in a row, I was encouraged by the willingness of our team to step out of their comfort zones and be bold for Christ! Several of our quieter students took big steps in starting conversations with the spring breakers while several of our experienced leaders stepped up to model evangelism and encourage those with them.
All in all, our team shared the Gospel with 163 people throughout the course of the week, and two of our guys got to pray and talk with a spring breaker as he made a profession of faith on the 3rd night! One especially unique story from this year is that one of the students who went down to BeachReach with us this year had actually been at Panama City Beach to party three years ago, and now by God’s grace he got to share the gospel & God’s work in his life in the exact same place!”
